LARC Technical Institute is launching a program designed to bridge the gap between book education and real world experience. Too many students are graduating without any work experience in their computer related field of study. Because of this, upon graduation, most will find that their resume will have little to no relevance towards their intended goal of working in the Information Technology industry. Due to their lack of experience, they will have to settle for jobs that pay lower wages and reside outside the scope of their intended career.

LARC’s computer repair internship program will have students working independently on computer hardware/software issues with close guidance of professionally trained, experienced A+ certified computer repair technicians. They will learn practical troubleshooting skills on how to solve everyday computer related problems such as virus removal, spyware removal, hardware repair, replacement and upgrade. Training will also include a high level of face-to-face client interaction in which students will develop listening and communication skills which become a valuable asset to potential employers.
